Burberry’s new T-shirts are made from high-weight pure cotton, eliminating static electricity and offering superior comfort and breathability. Inspired by the spirit of navigation, the brand’s iconic sailboat print is incorporated into the new T-shirt design, paying homage to the British tradition of exploration. The sailboat pattern originates from the brand’s historical archives, capturing the adventurous spirit of the “Burberry” circumnavigation in 1937. Presented using a delicate digital inkjet printing process, a groundbreaking 3D foaming process is employed, injecting lightweight foam material into key areas of the print and then pressing it at high temperatures to create a unique embossed texture. Each raised texture is hand-calibrated, maintaining softness and elasticity while giving the pattern a 3D dynamic effect.
